To book your child’s breakfast or after school club sessions, simply login to your online account and follow the easy to navigate booking steps. If you are using us for the first time, you will need to create an account and provide us with all the relevant information for your child. Yes, we offer ad-hoc bookings subject to availability which will be shown on our online booking system.
Yes, we accept childcare voucher payments. Please speak to your employer to find out which childcare voucher company they are registered with. See the full list of voucher companies we are currently registered with here – https://www.schoolofplay.org.uk/payment-options/
If the voucher company you wish to pay with isn’t on the list, please get in touch, and we will set up an account with them – info@schoolofplay.org.uk
From the initial booking, we allow a 48 hour cooling off period in which you can cancel and receive a full refund with no extra cost. Please note the cooling off period will not apply if your booking is created less than 48 hours before your child’s first session.
You can cancel after this period up until 72 hours before the start date of your booking. You will receive full credit back into your wallet on iPal. No cash refunds will be given.
If you cancel within 72 hours of the start date of your booking, you will receive 50% credit back into your iPal wallet. No cash refunds will be given.
Cancellations after the first session of a booking will not be refunded or credited.
Bookings will go live every April for the following school year (Sept – July). Once bookings are live, you can book for the full academic year.
Yes, we provide water and a variety of different snacks before and after school, please see our bi-weekly food menus here.
We provide a wide range of educational and physical activities for your child to take part in, such as arts & crafts, board games, sensory play, imaginative play, sports free play, and more. In addition to this we offer at least two special workshops, events, or shows every term, these have previously included mad science, magic, dino fossil experience, creepy-crawly show, yoga, American football, martial arts, lacrosse, and more. We can not guarantee any of the activities above will take place when your child attends, however, we will always do what we can to vary the days on which special activities occur throughout the school year.
Yes, your child can attend our after school club following another club; however, you will need to arrange for the other provider to drop your child off at our HUB room. Most schools and external providers are happy to accommodate. If you are able to arrange this, please add this to the notes of your child’s booking.
Unfortunately, we only accept bookings for children from the host school at the moment; however, we hope to arrange collections from other schools in the future. If this is a service you are interested in, please register your interest by emailing us.
This fee is in place to secure your child’s place from the time you create your first booking until the day they start with us, as we don’t have a notice period should you wish to leave, meaning you can cancel your child’s booking up to 72 hours before and receive full credit on your account. The fee also covers the admin involved when each child joins our setting.
