“Settling Forrest in so unbelievably immediately, helping Elizabeth progress, just giving them such a happy safe space, honestly can’t tell you how much it means to us to drop them off at such a wonderful place.”

“Continue to go above and beyond to support my childcare arrangements, sometimes at short notice when plans have changed. Elinor and Gemma really helped settle my daughter when she was nervous about attending holiday club. Organised activities like the French lessons and creepy crawly show are great.”

“My expectations are already high from years of wonderful service. This term has been brilliant, not many after school clubs where you get to high five a tarantula. The pastoral care is wonderful, and the continued education goes above and beyond. Thank you guys!

“I love that the girls can just walk down the corridor after school and I know they are going to be fine. Holiday club also is brilliant.”

“Another year of fantastic provision. Such a caring and nurturing environment for Alfie. He loves coming to School of Play. I love the fact that I know he is happy and safe there.
All the staff are amazing and Alfie talks about all of them regularly. But I would have to say that Katy and Gemma stand out the most, Katy for always being willing to help if I have any queries and Gemma for her enthusiasm and approachability.
Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s brilliant.”

“The staff at school of play provide a fantastic service. Our girl has started there from Reception and is now in year 1. She has particularly enjoyed learning French with the French teacher and how to play a variety of games including Tic Tac Toe. She is always extremely happy there and the staff without fail greet you with a smile on their face.”

“Absolutely fantastic, nurturing and full of fun provision. Staff have taken the time to get to know both of our boys so well and communication is great between SoP staff, school and us. We love seeing the fun things they do on tapestry and are regularly told off by the kids if we pick them up too early! Our 4 year old especially loves french lessons with Aurelie and our older one enjoys the fact that he gets to build on his sporting skills with older children. No complaints, wonderful team, wonderful provision, very happy parents and kids!”

“My son is in Reception and absolutely loves going to School of Play wraparound care and holiday clubs. It is obvious that the staff take time to get to know each child and treats them as individuals. It has been so nice to see how confident Freddie is when he interacts with the staff and other children at SoP.
The range of activities provided is great – they even have been doing French! I was particularly impressed with the Christmas show that was put on for the parents – written and performed by all the children, from nursery to Year 6. It was so lovely to see the children and staff having such fun and meet some of the other parents.
The added little details like the water bottles and a card and gift for the children on their birthdays makes the children really feel part of the SoP family. I have no reservations at all about sending my little girl to such a fun, caring, safe environment once she is in nursery.”

“Having sent our children to various after school clubs over the year, I can safely say that School of play offers one of the best experiences for the children. The staff provide lots of different activities to engage them and also allow them time to decompress after a busy school day. The staff know my children as individuals and respond brilliantly whenever they have needed a little TLC, or time to talk. I am very happy knowing that they have such great support when I can’t be there.
We loved the extras they put in such as reptile parties, film nights, carol services etc. The staff allow the children to take ownership of their play and learning and allow them to plan and run activities with guidance. This allows the children chance to feel heard and develops a sense of responsibility.
We also feel that the staff worked hard to ensure as much normality as possible during the past lock downs and return to school. This really reassured us and was so helpful in supporting the boys through so much change.
Both of our sons love school of play and as parents we are happy knowing they are happy, safe and well looked after.”

“A fantastic team that couldn’t do more for Vivienne, who absolutely loves going. There is such a positive atmosphere from everyone who works here.
School of Play always pull out all the stops to keep the children entertained, whatever their interests, and genuinely have their best interests at heart.
Taking childcare to a new level.”

“Amazing team, always happy to assist with changes to bookings or account needs via email in addition to the booking site.
Great care given from the team at Urmston, Woody has some complex needs, and we moved him to School of Play after his earlier wraparound care found him difficult to handle. We have not had those issues with School of Play. As a parent of a child who doesn’t fit social norms, it can be quite difficult to find the right care, so I am completely happy with School of Play and would recommend!
Katy is always flexible when needed with Woody, and he always mentions Ashlea after his days as his favourite person.
Thanks so much for putting parents minds at ease that their children are well looked after in a safe and fun environment!”

“My two (especially our daughter) absolutely love School of Play breakfast and after school club and we always know when our kids come they will be well looked after. They were both gutted when they missed Christmas in Whoville due to covid as they attended a couple of days of Haunted Hogwarts and had the best time!”

“Sophia absolutely loved School of Play. She’s been coming since she joined UPS in reception and is always excited to go to after school club. Having this service on our doorstep is incredible, I don’t have to worry about her leaving the schools grounds to go to a childminder. The staff are incredible with her and she loves spending time with them. We also take advantage of the holiday clubs which are great and always so varied and fun.”

“Very easy to book sessions, especially last-minute ones! The staff are very friendly and approachable. Nathan befriended them instantly.
Nathan enjoys himself so much that he asks to go regularly rather than for my benefit. Very professional and will continue to use throughout Nathan’s time at UPS.
Thank you for getting Nathan settled in this new environment and routine quickly whilst making it so much fun for him.”

“I could not be happier with the wrap-around care provided by School of Play. From day one, Freddie settled in and has loved going. I am particularly impressed with how each and every staff member makes Freddie feel special – from the way he is welcomed at 7:15am to the birthday card and present he received on his birthday.
Also, thank you for putting on a fantastic Christmas show. It was so well organised with the covid-safe measures. We were so grateful that we, as a family, were able to see Freddie’s performance – including his dance solo!! Well done School of Play. Enjoy your well-deserved Christmas break.”

“I can’t thank all the staff enough at School of Play, they go above and beyond for my daughter and continue to grow and learn as all great companies do. Well done to all the team at School of Play/Sport.
I look forward to my youngest daughter joining the breakfast and after school club as well in September.”

“The care that Ruby has received has been phenomenal. The staff have built up a fantastic relationship with her and settled her in so well as I know she was nervous about going there and school.
I’m so impressed with the range of activities that she does and how they put on the Christmas performance. That was a lovely surprise and end to their term! I’m so happy that she joined!
Thank you so much to everyone!”

“I think all team members are amazing and doing an excellent job – from big smiles at drop off to chatty conversations at collections – I cannot fault anybody at all.
The kids are trying to wake up super early on Monday – Wed when they are coming to the breakfast club because they want to spend as much time as possible before school.
I have to name Katy though, as she is always willing to help, is a great communicator and is very understanding. Again, this term, she has managed to keep Henry on track when he had wobbles and created such a safe environment for him, which has had a positive impact on his behaviour. Henry can be challenging, but Katy has worked him out. She offers cuddles when he most needs them, and, as we cannot be there, I appreciate the gesture even more. Knowing that his emotional needs are met is most important to us, and I cannot thank Katy enough.
I cannot fault anyone or anything. I wish you had opened a lot earlier at UPS.”

“Freddie joined this term after starting Reception at the end of September. He did go to a B and A school club at his previous school but never really settled and was always a bit anxious about going.
School of Play has been nothing but a fantastically positive experience. From the warm welcome we received from Katy when we had a visit, to his excited little face when we drop him off in the morning. He absolutely loves it! And we are so impressed – from the care and security systems to the lovely staff and wealth of fun activities. He even did French this week! Thank you to all the staff for keeping Fred safe, fed and happy…and for making going back to work after mat leave that little bit easier.”

“Vivienne is with you on a regular basis, and she is forever doing new, different and entertaining activities. She genuinely enjoys herself, and we know she is in more than capable hands. Vivienne really connected with Ashlea during last summer, and this has continued through the 20/21 school year. The whole team work so well with the kids and provide a ray of sunshine. Always good, but more so during C-19. I think you’re setting the standard for childcare.”

“My son has been to a couple of different after school clubs and would always moan about having to go. Since going to School of Play he has not once told me he doesn’t want to be there and on more that one occasion moaned that we picked him up to early. This is thanks to the wonderful staff and the different activities on offer.”

“Feedback from Henry – nothing at school of play is bad. I really like the golden snowflake fidget spinner and playing pool. Henry can’t get out of the door fast enough in the morning! He really enjoys it. I love that he’s always too hot to wear a coat on the way home because he’s been running around so much. The staff are all really friendly too.”

“Daisy is always happy to be dropped off and disappointed when I collect too early, which tells me she’s more than happy. Katy has helped Daisy settle in really well. That makes me extremely satisfied. Thank you!”

“School of Play is an absolute godsend for me as a working parent. My daughter attends after school and holiday clubs, and the quality of staff and activities are always excellent.
The booking system is so simple, and a big advantage is that you are able to book flexibly instead of having to book set days.
As a business, they are always striving to better themselves by actively seeking and responding to parent feedback and suggestions. Myself and my daughter would highly recommend it, which is reflected in the ‘Why did you collect me early’ comments I continuously receive. Thank you so much, and keep up the amazing work.”

“The team at the school always have a smile when welcoming children to the group. Ashlea and Katy always double-check that Joel is ok and make him feel really welcome. All staff that I have dropped my son off to have been really friendly. My son really enjoys his time at the breakfast club.”

“All of the staff have been friendly and approachable. Ashlea has been brilliant; she’s always enthusiastic and has built a lovely caring relationship with Barney. He thinks she’s very cool!
Special events like the mobile creepy crawly and treasure hunts are a highlight. The Scalextric is a favourite, too, alongside craft activities.”

“Sophia absolutely loves coming to the club and asks every morning whether she can go to School Of Play. I love that she doesn’t have to leave the school premises too. Its ticks all the boxes, and I’m really happy with how Sophia has taken to it. The staff are amazing with her, too

“Everything is organised, and communication is always quick. Ashlea is someone I have noticed has a connection with my son’s the most. My children are always collected promptly and always come out of School of Play happy and fed. It’s been a really nice surprise to see (especially our youngest son who had confidence issues) come out of sessions so bubbly and positive!”

“Everyone is lovely, but Katy and Ashlea get a lot of mentions at home. You always go the extra mile; the activities you put on to help her with her learning too is amazing; Elizabeth absolutely loves her time with you all, and knowing this is such a relief to us. Thank you.”

“The service has exceeded my expectations. Ashlea is so in tune with Emily’s needs. She so quickly identified her personality and needs. She’s great at calming her and engaging with her, and her feedback is always positive or constructive. The whole team are brilliant, but Emily says Ashlea is her favourite.”

“Even within the challenging conditions we’ve had over the last term, the wraparound care provided by School of Play has been exceptional. The range of activities has been good, and team members are always happy and enthusiastic. Theo loves going and even says he wants to go in when he doesn’t. Theo talks about Katy a lot, as well as Ashlea. This is impressive as, in general, he tells us nothing about his school days.”

“Nel joined after hearing about how much her friends enjoyed School of Play. I was a bit reluctant as she had attended her previous care setting since she was eight months old and had a great relationship with the staff; I needn’t have worried because when I first picked her up, she didn’t want to leave. On the way home, she told me how it was ‘the best thing ever, and she couldn’t wait to go again.
She has settled so quickly and begs me to let her go – even on days we don’t need childcare! I genuinely can’t find enough words to give Katy and Ashlea the praise they deserve. Nel absolutely adores them, and she’s only been with them a couple of weeks. They work so hard to build positive relationships with the children and keep them engaged in such a wide range of activities. They know my daughter so well already, and I know she is in very safe hands.”

“My five year old joined School of Play this September; she felt comfortable and at ease from the very first day she started and has no made complaints since. Great range of activities provided, which also included the occasional shows and entertainment – such a treat!
Staff members are passionate, professional, and very helpful. Excellent communication, emails and queries are replied with promptness. Holiday Clubs are also amazing which were filled with fun activities. Highly recommended!”

“Reuben absolutely loves coming to School Of Play. It’s a great opportunity to try a range of new things – sports, games or activities. His favourite was the science show, and he started showing a real interest in doing experiments at home!”

“Our four year old has been going to after school club since September, and he absolutely loves it! He settled in so quickly and always comes out with a smile on his face. The activities have been varied… Science shows, treasure hunts, crafts and games. He’s looking forward to the upcoming creepy-crawly show!
The staff are brilliant at what they do! Whenever we come to pick him up, it’s always “too soon”, which says all you need to know about how much fun he’s having. Everyone is so enthusiastic, encouraging and friendly, and they often go out of their way to say hello even on the days he’s not attending. This seems a small thing, but it makes a huge difference and really gives a sense of belonging, which during this strange time is so needed.
Any queries we’ve had have always been responded to really quickly, and everyone is so helpful. We couldn’t ask for more and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!”
Stephanie Young

“He absolutely loves it. When asked Grayson what marks out of 10, he said “infinity”. He absolutely loves it and is always disappointed when we arrive to collect him. What we really appreciate about the club is that activities are so varied and really well organised so children always feel involved and included (and aren’t watching screens)”

“I was worried about moving Elizabeth to a new wraparound care club after so much upheaval already this year, but I am pleased I did. She loves coming to School of Play and enjoys every day there.
She adores the staff and they always seem so friendly. The setup and activities are fantastic, with some really fun special days organised. A really lovely club. Thank you.”

“Edward’s only been to a few sessions, but he’s loved everyone – especially trying new sports and mixing with kids from other classes. We will definitely be sending him back, he loves it!”

“I’d read about School of Play before my children started, and I thought it looked really good. I thought my children would enjoy it, and they do.
We have only had two weeks so far, and I know covid has restricted what activities are available, but so far, my children have really enjoyed it. They’re happy to go straight in and are not clingy, which shows me how happy they must be.
I know they will love the after school club in September. Thank you.”

“My daughter has absolutely loved going to the club. The ladies that work there are just fantastic and an absolute credit to your company – especially Katy, who is Alexis favourite lady.
Alexis took to Katy right away. She has understood Alexis straight from the start and is just brilliant with her. I’m really, really happy with the service provided for Alexis.”

“My 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter love School of Play. So much so, my daughter regularly asks if she can go just because!
As a parent, it’s so wonderful to be able to send my children to a breakfast and after school club, where I have no doubt they will be well looked after whilst having a great time!
The staff are so kind, and nothing is too much. I would recommend School of Play to any other parent. Thank you to all the staff for being so passionate about your jobs and going the extra mile for both of my children.”

“Incredibly friendly and enthusiastic staff, who make Alfie feel so comfortable and excited when attending wraparound care.
Alfie’s face lights up when Ashlea opens the door in the mornings, and he regularly talks about Sophie and Katy and what he has done with them throughout the morning/after school.
Such an outstanding service with committed staff that go above and beyond for both children and parents. We’re so lucky to have School of Play in our area.”

“Luke has really enjoyed this breakfast club and is usually shy. Everyone has helped him settle in and helped his confidence.
Everyone has been great, but Ashlea has been the team member I have had the most interaction with. She has been fantastic with Luke and has always kept me up to date on his activities and day to day behaviour. Ashlea always goes out of her way to make Luke feel welcome and happy.
Thank you to everyone for all their hard work over the past year.”

“We just wanted to write to say a massive thank you to the School of Play staff at Urmston Primary School After-school Club.
My daughter, Lydia attended on an ad hoc basis during her final school year. We have used quite a few of the childcare providers in Urmston & have to say that School of Play have been by far the best. Easy booking system & competitively priced. The staff are so friendly, kind and enthusiastic. They seem really interested in the kids and in ensuring they enjoy themselves. Time always made to feedback & have a chat at pick up. Special shout out to Ashlea & Elinor in particular- Lydia loved you guys!
We would not hesitate to recommend School of Play to other parents. Thanks again for allowing us to feel secure in the knowledge that Lydia was content & being well looked after on those occasions we needed after school care.”
