Our Pledge

It is essential for us, as a company, to support and raise awareness for charities that are making a difference. At the heart of our mission are primary schools and their local communities! We believe that giving back and supporting others is a responsibility everyone should embrace, and as part of our pledge to become an active part of these communities, we donate a percentage of our revenues every month to great causes.

We have also recently supported charities such as Open Arms Malawi and Friends of Davyhulme Park, as well as previously working with The Toy House in Urmston, Bone Cancer Research Trust, and Francis House Didsbury, among others.

Our commitment is to contribute meaningfully to the communities that we work with, helping to create a positive impact for all.

Family Fun Days

Our Family Fun Days are all about bringing joy and connection to the community! Partnering with charities like 'Friends of Davyhulme Park', we host exciting activity days filled with games, sports, alongside character visits to local schools, bringing smiles to children and adults alike. We also join school fairs with engaging activities that create memorable moments for families. These events strengthen community ties, offer a fun, safe space for everyone to come together, and showcase the spirit of collaboration that makes our local area so special.

Sports Tournaments

Our sports tournaments at FIVES Trafford are more than just games—they’re community-building events that bring young people and teachers together. Designed for primary schools, these tournaments foster teamwork, boost confidence, and promote healthy lifestyles in a fun, inclusive environment. They create opportunities for students to develop skills and for teachers to connect, share, and strengthen community bonds. Take a look!

2000 Burpees In November

In association with Bone Cancer Research Trust and to support Jude’s fund, our co-founder, Ryan, took part in the ‘2000 Burpees in November Challenge’ and managed to rise £380. Having heard about Jude’s story through one of our partner schools, Urmston Primary School, Ryan felt the urge to support the cause in any way possible.

FedEx x Europa League Community Award

We were recently put forward and chosen for the FedEx x Europa League Community Award. The prize was delivered by none other than former England striker and football legend Michael Owen. Michael was kind enough to visit our setting at Urmston Primary School and catch up with our co-founder Ryan about the work we do at the school and in the community. This was a joint effort from the fantastic team we have down at the school, who all played a massive role in the work we have done in the community in the last 12 months. Our team certainly are the greatest asset we have, and individually, they each embody the culture we have created within the company.

The Toy House

The Toy House is an independent charity we work closely with. At Christmas, we contributed 10 hamper boxes for some of the families they support. The work The Toy House has done over the last 40 years has been amazing and we hope to continue supporting them in any way we can.

PE Packs

During the October half-term, and following the government’s decision not to offer free school meals to children, a local restaurant in Urmston ran a fantastic initiative providing school meals to any local children in need. To support the cause, we donated PE packs to be handed out to the children that came into the restaurant.

Christmas Carol Show

In our School of Play Christmas Carol Show all the children certainly ‘Sparkled and Shined’ in their amazing performance and we were so happy with their dedication and enthusiasm towards the rehearsals, the setup and the singing! We managed to raise nearly £100 from selling hot drinks and snacks to the parents in attendance, and we used that money to go towards gifts that we delivered to children’s hospice Francis House in Didsbury on Christmas Eve.
