Flexible Pricing with our Swim:ED Programme
Provision Tailored Programmes for Every School’s Needs
At Swim:ED, we understand that each school has unique requirements and budgets when it comes to providing high-quality swimming education. That’s why we offer a flexible pricing structure that allows schools to choose from a range of options to best suit their needs. Whether it’s our core 3-week programme, our comprehensive 7-week package, or running our provision every two years, we ensure every pupil has the opportunity to gain essential swimming skills.
Budget-Friendly Scheduling
For schools looking to manage their budgets efficiently, our provision can be delivered every two years, effectively halving the price. This ensures that high-quality swimming education remains accessible without compromising on the quality and comprehensiveness of the programme.
By offering these diverse and adaptable pricing options, we are committed to providing a valuable and accessible swimming education to as many pupils as possible. Choose the package that best fits your school’s needs and watch your pupils thrive in their swimming skills and confidence.
Our pools can be hired every other year which may be more suitable for smaller schools. This would halve the prices shown below.
Are their any additional costs?
Yes, there are other costs to consider when deciding if this solution is right for your primary school, some of which are one-time expenses, while others are recurring.
These costs can vary depending on your school’s circumstances, such as existing infrastructure and supplier contracts. Below, we outline the main cost components:
3-Phase Outdoor Plug
- One-off Cost: The installation of a 3-phase outdoor plug is a one-time expense and is a requirement to heat the pool. Although we can’t give an exact figure as this depends on the proximity of the pool to your main electrical supply, you might expect to pay between £1000 – £2000.
- Versatility: This plug can also be used for other school events such as powering bouncy castles at fairs, making it a versatile investment.
Water Bills
- Initial Fill: The pool requires 50,000 litres of water to fill, which is a one-time requirement.
Heating Costs
- Variable Expense: The exact cost of heating the pool is difficult to estimate due to differences in suppliers and contract terms.
- Estimate: On average, schools might see an increase in heating costs of approximately £50 per day.
What is the difference between PVC and Hard Side?
We offer two types of temporary modular structures that go around the pool for our swimming programmes: PVC and hard side. Both options are secure and equipped with lockable doors, ensuring children cannot gain access from the playground.
- PVC Structures: These are durable and provide excellent protection during school hours. They are a cost-effective solution suitable for most school environments.
- Hard Side Structures: If your school has concerns about vandalism outside of school hours, the hard side option may be more suitable. These structures offer enhanced security and durability, providing peace of mind for schools in areas where after-hours security is a concern.
