At School of Play, we’ve always believed in the power of imagination, creativity, and active play. Our mission has always been to provide unforgettable experiences that ‘make memories to last a lifetime’  and that’s why we’re thrilled to share the exciting news of our wraparound care expansion to St. Hilda’s Primary School in Stretford. As we take this giant leap, we couldn’t help but notice how well our values align with their belief that ‘memorable experiences, trips, and visits gender a desire to learn new things and gain knowledge.’ A Perfect Match of Values St. Hilda’s and School of Play share a common passion for nurturing young minds which certainly resonates with our own values of sparking imagination, working together, and understanding that passion is our purpose. Together, we are sure to create an environment where children can thrive academically, creatively, and actively. Amazing Facilities Await One of the many exciting aspects of our expansion to St. Hilda’s is all the amazing facilities at our disposal. From spacious classrooms to well-maintained sports halls, we’re thrilled to be able to offer a diverse range of activities to the children of Stretford. Whether your child is a creative artist, a bookworm, a social butterfly, or a sports enthusiast, they’ll have access to top-notch facilities that will help them explore their passions. As we have amazing access to a multitude of sports knowledge, equipment, and skilled coaches, our Sport Development Lead explains that he “can’t wait for our new setting at St. Hilda’s to open! We’re excited to aid the children’s learning & development through fun sports activities like mini golf, hockey, dodgeball, and lots more. We look forward to watching the children grow in our supportive and caring environment.”  Expanding Our Community Our journey into St. Hilda’s is not just about providing childcare; it’s about becoming an integral part of the local community. We’re excited to meet new families, engage with dedicated educators, and work together to create a supportive, fun, and enriching environment for the children of Manchester. Making Memories to Last a Lifetime Our slogan, ‘making memories to last a lifetime’, encapsulates our commitment to creating experiences that children will cherish forever. In our new St. Hilda’s venue, we’ll continue to do just that. With help from the amazing playworkers at St.Hilda’s, who will provide a familiar face for the children, we will create an environment that feels like a ‘home away from home’ for the children, ensuring comfort, building confidence and providing a safe space for everyone within it, including our team. Our Head of Compliance explains, “we are so excited to work alongside St Hilda’s Primary School and the team there, who have all been incredibly warm and welcoming and are really excited to welcome new students into the School of Play community, as well as those who already attend some of our local Holiday Camps”. We’re excited to start this new adventure and we’re super grateful for the opportunity to align our values with St. Hilda’s and provide quality childcare services to even more children in Manchester. Here’s a little message from Ryan, our Managing Director, “We are extremely excited about opening our third wraparound setting at St Hilda’s at the end of October. Following the success of our sites in Urmston & Prestbury, we believe we can make a positive difference to the children who attend our provision at St Hilda’s. Having met with the headteacher Miss Plant, and some of the senior team from The Vantage Trust on several occasions, we feel our values align with those of the schools, which should make for a long and successful partnership. We can’t wait to get started after the October half-term”
